On April 3, an exhibition entitled “Azerbaijan – A Land of Tolerance” was inaugurated at the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Centre, Moscow, with the organizational support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Russia, and the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Centre.

Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloghlu, Russia’s well-known political and cultural persons, employees of the Azerbaijani Embassy and the Russian Representative Office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and representatives of the All-Russian Azerbaijanis Congress attended the event.

26 photos of world-renowned photo correspondent Reza Deghati are displayed at the exhibition. The photos describe the lives of the Muslim, Jewish and Christian communities that have for centuries peacefully lived on the Azerbaijani soil.
