A concert entitled “From Heart to Heart” is held at “SANAT” Child Music and Art Centre

Following the initiative of Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva, a concert entitled “From Heart to Heart” by pianist Ruslan Aghababayev was held at “SANAT” Child Music and Art Centre, December 28. 

Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva attended the concert. 

Well-known in USA, pianist and composer Ruslan Aghababayev performed various compositions of himself at the concert. Honoured artists Sevda Alakbarzade, Jeyla Seyidova and Eyyub Aliyev were guest-performers of the concert. 

Ruslan Aghababayev was born in Baku, and graduated from the Baku Music Academy. In 1997, he moved to USA and continued his education there, taking lessons on jazz and composition from Ron Carter, Bruce Bars, David Loeb, and David Del Tredici. 

An exhibition of young artists was also arranged within the framework of the event.

Artworks by members of DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Centre, the Azerbaijan State Academy of Art, students of the Azerbaijan State Art School named after Azim Azimzade, as well as inhabitants of a children home were displayed at the exhibition. Along with the subject of patriotism, 17 works of art drawn in various genres, and handicrafts were also presented. 

In the artworks of the artists, Karabakh and pleasing-to-the-eye monuments of Azerbaijan were conveyed to the audience in a unique form.
